The Society of Marine Explorers is a Registered Tax-deductible Charity Dedicated To Educating Children World-wide About The Arctic Through Shipboard Excursions. We are also dedicated to the preservation of our maritime heritage through proper archaeological documentation of the world's historically significant shipwrecks. In conjunction with National Geographic, we can ensure that these wrecks are shared with everyone and the "treasure hunting" aspect is eliminated from the equation. We are also researching climate change and the ship is able to run on bio-diesel with supplemental hydrogen fuel cell, solar and wind generation. This drastically reduces our carbon footprint and operating costs.
